Aqueous implies it's dissolved in water. Fortunately (fortunately?), methanol is soluble in water because of its hydrogen-bonding interaction capabilities.

However, if you are planning to physically carry this out, ask for permission first, and furthermore, if you are allowed, then use a low concentration stock, do it in a hood, with goggles on, away from flames, in a cold room if possible (below #12^oC# would help you avoid hitting the flash point). Methanol is quite dangerous if you breathe it in for too long, and you could probably die if you don't take the proper safety precautions.
